Passports are processed at least 2 weeks.
The passport fees are as follows:
For expedited processing, an additional expedition fee of $50 applies.
If your passport is lost or damaged and is still valid, a penalty fee of $100 applies in addition to the standard application fee of $100.
However, if your lost or damaged passport is already expired, there is no penalty, and you will only need to pay the application fee.
We recommend applying for a replacement as soon as possible to avoid travel disruptions. If you need expedited processing, an additional expedition fee of $50 applies.

No, your new passport will be issued with a new passport number. Passport numbers are unique to each document and do not carry over when a new passport is issued.
If you need to update records, such as your I-94 travel history, make sure to provide the new passport number to the relevant authorities.

If your passport is still valid and you need to update personal information such as your last name, you can apply for a change. The fee is based on age:
$100 for applicants aged 12 and under
$200 for applicants aged 13 and above
